Volt is hiring a Drafter for our client in the Tipton/Muscatine, Iowa area.

\r\n\r\n

As a Drafter, you will be involved in:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCreating design sketches and models using SolidWorks.\r\n\tCreating engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing.\r\n\tMaintaining AutoCAD technical documents.\r\n\tPreparing complete documentation packages for engineers.\r\n\tVerifying drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

Shift: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with overtime opportunities

\r\n\r\n

Job Requirements

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssociate’s Degree in Mechanical Draft & Design, or similar technical field preferred. HS diploma required.\r\n\tPrevious work experience with SolidWorks.\r\n\tPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment.\r\n\tMust have a solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics and tolerances.\r\n\tExperience with AutoCAD preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.\r\n\tAbility to work as both a team member and independently, have the desire to learn new skills, be self-motivated, dependable, and possess excellent communication skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $21-$25 per hour

\r\n\r\n

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc
