Drafter
Spring Valley, NY 10977 

System One is seeking 3 Drafters to work out of our client’s office Spring Valley, NY office. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the heavy industrial construction / utilities sector!

Important Details / Benefits:

6-month contract opportunity

Pay rate up to $35/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekly pay

Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)

401k after 30 days

Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check

 
Please note the following qualifications:

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Technical skills: need to be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit. Also need to understand drafting standards and documentation practices.

Attention to detail: need to be precise and create accurate plans that are free of errors.

Visualization skills: need to be able to convert concepts into detailed drawings.

Communication skills: need to be able to communicate with clients via email and phone.

Construction knowledge: need to know construction, engineering, surveying, and design techniques. It’s highly preferred that these individuals have experience working for utility companies or transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.

Candidates must be currently local to Spring Valley, NY and any candidates that are not local will not to be considered nor will any “promises” of relocating to the Spring Valley, NY be considered. Anyone not willing to work out of the Spring Valley office full time will not be considered. These candidates would be seconded to our clients’ drafting department.
