Job Title: Drafter
Job Description

• Develops detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.• Collaborates with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and meet project goals.• Updates and refines existing designs based on engineering changes and client feedback.• Ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.• Maintains a well-organized digital filing system for all drawings and related documents.• Works closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and optimized for production.• Participates in project meetings, offering technical insights on design feasibility.• Prepares Bills of Materials (BOM) for finalized designs.• Conducts quality checks and revisions to maintain consistency and accuracy of drawings.• Supports product development by preparing prototypes and production-ready drawings.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Torrance, California.

Work Environment

Works closely with engineers, project managers, and the manufacturing team in a collaborative setting. Maintains a well-organized digital filing system and participates in project meetings to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of designs.
