Job Title: Drafter
Job Description

This position will assist with plans and prepare non-routine drawings with complex features using information from rough sketches, detailed engineering notes or brief verbal guidance. The role involves working on various substation projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in a full range of drawing production work.Produce project deliverables in an efficient and budget-conscious manner.Assist with CAD drawing production and project execution.Print, scan, and submit drawing packages.Maintain high CAD proficiency and mastery of current CAD systems.Effectively use multiple application packages where necessary.Train, mentor, and develop staff.Review and adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget.Manage resources effectively.Identify priority tasks and implement plans of execution.Communicate workload with team and management.Maintain record of client or company CAD standards.Provide quality feedback on work.Assist in the QA/QC process.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, Drafting, and CAD.1-2 years of drafting experience.Experience in utilities preferred; oil and gas or architecture experience is also acceptable.Proficiency in Microstation, Revit, and Inventor.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to train, mentor, and develop staff.Strong communication skills for team and management interaction.Experience in resource management and task prioritization.Knowledge of project scope, schedule, and budget management.Work Environment

The position is based in an open office environment with a 9/80 work schedule, allowing every other Friday off.
