Job Description
We are currently in the midst of transitioning from Creo to SolidWorks. The primary responsibility of this role is to convert files from Creo to SolidWorks. This involves importing Creo files, redrawing from scratch in SolidWorks when necessary, and making assemblies. This is a 12-month contract with the potential to become a permanent position based on performance.
ResponsibilitiesConvert files from Creo to SolidWorks.Redraw models and drawings in SolidWorks.Create assemblies and draft parts as needed.Ensure the accuracy and quality of drafting work.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth file conversions.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in CAD designing/drafting.1+ years of experience with Creo and SolidWorks.Strong drafting skills and understanding of drafting grammar.Ability to create models and drawings in SolidWorks.Additional Skills & QualificationsSome experience in converting files from Creo to SolidWorks.Testing and verifying the accuracy of converted files.Work Environment
The work environment is a clean R&D office where business casual attire is preferred. Most individuals wear jeans and some wear t-shirts. Working hours are flexible, with most employees arriving between 7:30-8:00 am and leaving between 4:00-5:00 pm. You will work with smart and driven individuals in a collaborative setting.
