Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and modifying assembly drawings for production, including casting, forging, machining, sheet metal, and weldments using AutoCAD. This role involves maintaining engineering documentation, updating AutoCAD templates and libraries, and finalizing product detail drawings and bills of material. The Drafter will also design custom products using existing tools and collaborate with various departments to ensure project success.
ResponsibilitiesCreate new drawings and modify existing assembly drawings for production using AutoCAD.Maintain all required Engineering Department documentation.Update and maintain AutoCAD templates and libraries.Finalize product detail drawings and bills of material.Design custom products using existing tools.Collaborate with team members to gather information for project development.Adapt to changing priorities and perform job duties with minimal guidance.Meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Essential SkillsAssociates degree in a technical field.Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with piping and vessels.Exposure to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1.Strong AutoCAD capabilities.Strong mechanical skills.Familiarity with engineering drawings and industrial piping nomenclature.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Ability to work independently and gather information for project development.Resourceful with a positive attitude and a 'can do' demeanor.Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SolidWorks.Knowledge of 2D and 3D design.Understanding of custom design, piping design, and vessel design.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00
