Job Title: DrafterJob Description We are seeking a skilled drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will design overhead and underground electric projects using design software and create construction cost estimates. This role involves gathering information from various sources, ensuring project completion, and maintaining quality standards while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities + Design overhead and underground electric projects using design software. + Create construction cost estimates. + Gather information from GIS, surveys, field data, and Google Earth for assigned projects. + Ensure proficiency in design and construction standards. + Research Right-of-Way and create easement documents for project requirements. + Field check and document assigned projects as requested. + Layout and stake project in the field following the created design. + Follow project to completion and respond to inquiries on the project as requested. + Maintain the quality of work while meeting deadlines for multiple projects. Essential Skills + Experience in distribution design OR 5+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience in the AEC space utilizing AutoCAD or similar software. + Proficiency in working with GDT, DDS, AEGIS, or similar applications. + Experience supporting projects from 480v up to 69kv. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with distribution design studio, engineering, power delivery, power generation, and utilities. + Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. + Understanding of design and construction standards. Work Environment The work environment is an office setting with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. Employees are provided with 6 holidays and 5 PTO days while on contract. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
