Job Description:

We are looking for a Drafter for a Metal Fabrication Shop in Tulsa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for the fabrication of metal products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers, fabricators, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for metal fabrication projects.

Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches.

Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure that designs meet project requirements and industry standards.

Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings.

Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Assist in the preparation of material lists, cost estimates, and project schedules.

Conduct site visits and field measurements as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
