Job Description

Join an innovative startup aiming to revolutionize the Aerospace & Defense industry by 3D printing complex parts and components. We are currently designing and building a 3D printing machine capable of tight tolerance manufacturing, which will significantly reduce costs for our customers. As we expand, we plan to target the Automotive and Medical Device industries. We are a small team of 10 employees, and we have recently acquired a manufacturing space where production is set to begin in June 2025. We are seeking a talented drafter to support our Lead Designer in designing our cutting-edge 3D printer.

ResponsibilitiesTake current drawings made in NX and perform GD&T/Detailing work.Create 2D assembly drawings for the equipment.Design parts that are fabricated, machined, or welded.Support other areas including supply chain development, process development, and part identification when not engaged in drafting work.Essential SkillsAssociates of Drafting or Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering.Experience with NX Design (SolidWorks or CATIA considered if all other qualifications are met).Experience designing parts that are fabricated, machined, or welded.Strong GD&T experience.1+ years of applicable work experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny 3D Printing or Machining experience outside of work is a plus.Work Environment

This position is onsite in an office environment. The expected schedule is 8-4, five days per week, with flexibility on the start time. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to go full-time after 6 months and grow their career in a potentially industry-breaking company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
