Job Description

Join a dynamic team specializing in comprehensive electrical system designs that include power and lighting, low voltage systems (DATA, WAN, LAN, Voice, CCTV, PA, Security Access & Control, A/V, Master Clock, DAS, Fire Alarm), medium voltage distribution, utility coordination, and infrastructure. Our projects also encompass LEED, onsite surveys of existing systems, onsite inspections, feasibility studies, energy audits, plan reviews, construction administration, cost estimating, electrical system load, coordination and fault studies, emergency power systems, site planning, special use permits, and arc flash analysis. ResponsibilitiesElectrical design of lighting and power systems for vertical and horizontal projectsPerform electrical calculations using engineering formulas and softwareConduct point-by-point lighting calculations and energy code compliance calculationsPrepare project short circuit and arc flash analysisDevelop project specificationsResearch and apply code requirements for various projectsMaintain project schedules and ensure timely deliverables to clientsActively participate in project meetingsProvide internal QA/QCOffer input and guidance on company processes and standardsDeliver quality service to clientsEssential SkillsProficiency in Microstation with 2-3 years of experience as an electrical engineer/designerExperience in the design of roadways and transitKnowledge of the National Electrical CodeProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and SKMFamiliarity with Civil 3D and MicrostationCompetence in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)Drafting and CAD experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical system load calculationsKnowledge of construction administration and cost estimatingAbility to perform onsite surveys and inspectionsExperience with feasibility studies and energy auditsWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
