We currently have an exciting contract opportunity with one of our leading clients! **Title:** Drafter **Location:** El Cajon, CA **Duration:** 6 months **Pay:** $36.00 – 42.00/hour **Type:** W2 contract **_(NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)_** **Responsibilities** + Will play a vital role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams by creating precise and detailed drawings, ensuring design integrity, and maintaining meticulous documentation. + Create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks. + Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into accurate drawings. + Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements. + Manage and organize drawing files, records, and related documentation in a systematic and accessible manner. + Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes. + Support design reviews, quality checks, and production processes by providing accurate and timely drawings. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time. **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred + Proficient in SolidWorks is required, advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Prior experience in a drafting role, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or marine industries, is a plus. + Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes is highly desirable. **Additional Information** + Onsite / Monday – Friday / 7:30AM – 4:30PM + Local candidates only **Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
