ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.Support change control procedures and documentation management.Utilize ERP/MRP systems for effective BOM management.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience as a Drafter-BOM builder, or a Diploma/Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field with 10 years of experience as a Drafter-BOM builder.Proven experience as a Drafter or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings and designs.Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Familiarity with BOM management tools.Experience in change control procedures and documentation management.Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems for BOM management.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Work Environment

This role involves working in an office setting with standard office hours. The candidate will use CAD software and ERP/MRP systems on a regular basis. Collaboration with engineering and production teams will be a key part of the job, requiring effective communication and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00

e are seeking an experienced Drafter-BOM Builder with a robust technical experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and have 3 years of experience as a Drafter-BOM Builder. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field and 10 years of relevant experience are also welcome. The position requires strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and familiarity with BOM management tools, change control procedures, and documentation management. Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems for BOM management is essential.
