Job Description

We are seeking a talented Drafter/Designer with 3-5 years of experience in a design and manufacturing environment, specifically designing electro-mechanical products or capital equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD design, both 2D drafting and 3D modeling, and have experience with SolidWorks and DraftSight/AutoCAD.

ResponsibilitiesInterface with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to take red-lined, standard models and drawings and transform them into new, custom models and drawings.Create new or update existing BOM information in the ERP system.Complete projects in a manner consistent with corporate design and drafting standards.Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, and drawings.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in a design and manufacturing environment designing electro-mechanical products or capital equipment.Minimum of 3-5 years of CAD design experience.Proficiency in 2D drafting (electrical/pneumatic schematics) and 3D modeling (parts/assemblies/detail drawings).Experience with SolidWorks and DraftSight/AutoCAD.Experience with SolidWorks PDM.Additional Skills & QualificationsSOLIDWORKS certification is a plus.Experience with Inventor and Vault is a plus.Work Environment

The position offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, with the option to work 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 nine-hour shifts with a half-day on Friday. Up to 4 hours of overtime is available if desired. This role requires 100% onsite work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
