Job Title: Drafting Manager

Description:

We are seeking a Drafting Manager to oversee a team of drafters creating fabrication drawings for client-specific equipment.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of five drafters, providing direction and expertise on fabrication/shop drawings.Communicate effectively with clients, internal fabricators, and shop employees.Translate ideas or concepts from the internal team or clients into designs and delegate tasks accordingly.Ensure drawings meet customer standards and guidelines through spot checks.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.1-2 years of engineering leadership experience.Strong leadership skills with experience managing projects from start to finish.Ability to prioritize projects based on urgency.Proficiency in evaluating and refining sketches and designs.Experience in metal and wood fabrication.Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

This is a salaried position and compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
