Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our custom panel solutions organization, specializing in creating panels that meet UL specifications. The ideal candidate will be adept with design software such as CAD, Zuken, and SolidWorks, and will turn internal or external designs into submittals. While a bachelor’s degree is not required, drafting experience is essential. An electrical degree is preferred. This full-time, onsite role is from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no travel requirements. The daily workflow involves 10% in meetings, 20% designing for internal and external customers, and 70% in front of the computer designing.

This role is based in a panel manufacturing shop, primarily involving desk work and idea execution. You will be part of a small team, interacting directly with 2-3 people and collaborating with engineers, sales individuals, and customers. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The day-to-day activities include sitting in front of a computer designing, attending meetings to discuss progress, and occasionally meeting with customers to provide technical feedback. Initially, you will spend the first five days familiarizing yourself with the company’s operations, followed by developing and designing projects over the next 30 days. Within a month, you will be delivering submittals and designs independently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.03 - $33.65/hr.
