Responsibilities:
Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems, analysis, and design of cross drains, design of stormwater management facilities, floodplain compensation analysisDesign and inspection of best management practices for erosion and sediment controlPrepare technical documents including drainage reports, pond siting reports, bridge hydraulics reports, and permitting documentsPrepare construction plans consistent with FDOT standardsServe as Drainage Engineer of Record on projectsField reviews, site visits, and project researchPreparing and assisting with the preparation of LOI’s, ELOI’s, and ProposalsQualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil EngineeringProfession Engineer (PE)7+ years of relevant FDOT experienceKnowledge of FDOT policies, procedures, and standards is preferred.Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and similar FDOT design software programs
