Dredging Designer
 Job Description The Designer develops drawings for constructing new equipment or implementing changes to existing equipment. Essential Job Functions Creation of detailed drawings Documentation and record keeping Obtaining bids for fabrication of equipment Compiling and awarding bid packages for fabrication of equipment Ensuring drawings meet Marine standards and regulatory compliance May require infrequent travel Qualifications 3+ years of related experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in industrial design discipline required Strong proficiency with CAD software (AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS) Proficient skills in standard office software packages Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing techniques Ability to work 40-hour work week, M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., additional hours as needed Willingness and ability to travel as needed This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language Required Certifications or Licenses Driver’s License Physical Requirements Ability to remain in seated stationary position for long periods of time Ability to navigate around office to use equipment as needed Light lifting (up to 20 lbs.) as needed Additional Duties This Job Description does not cover all of the required duties, activities, functions and responsibilities of the position, any of which may change at any time according to the sole and absolute discretion of Weeks Marine, Inc., with or without notice.
