We are looking for an experienced Drill Operator to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team at our Bronzewing, WA operations. This will be on going, long-term project work.

Both full-time and casual positions available. FIFO from Perth. Roster is 2:2 (weeks) – day shift & night shift.

The Role

To operate Drill Rigs safely and efficiently to ensure maximum output on a continuous basis and as a productive member of the team.

This role would ideally suit someone who has a positive attitude towards safety, training & environment. Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.

 Key Responsibilities:

Operate hydraulic and pneumatic drill rigs as per OEM specifications. Complete drill holes to high QA standards according to client requirements. Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist with major repairs. Service drill rigs, ancillary equipment, and operate service trucks and LVs. Maintain daily drill sheets and conduct pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment. Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are upheld; monitor drilling consumables and record wear rates.

The successful applicant will have:

C Class Drivers Licence (Manual) A working knowledge of Sandvik DPI1500 and Epiroc D65 equipment Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

Desirables

Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence Certificate III In Drilling Operations Dangerous Goods Security Card
