We are currently seeking an experienced **Drilling Services Manager** to join our Boart Longyear team. In this role, the Drilling Services Manager will work specifically with the client and will play a crucial role across different divisions in project coordination, client relationship management, and will be a key player in ensuring continued EHS and operational excellence. **Responsibilities** + Ensures all aspects of the project are aligned with contractual obligations, the scope of the work, and any additional client KPIs or expectations. + Encourages and sustains a culture of continuous improvement and optimization by fostering collaboration, leveraging data-driven insights, and implementing best practices across all aspects of the project. + Builds and maintains a strong relationship with the client and all operations personnel. + Handles difficult situations with professionalism to find effective solutions to challenges to ensure client satisfaction. + Acts as a liaison between the Company and the client to ensure all needs are met across drilling disciplines. + Coordinates regular meetings with the client to review needs and objectives while championing the operations teams and the Company. + Leads and influences team culture focused on safety and driving improvements. + Influences a sense of continuity among divisions with a client-focused approach. + Collaborates with teams to ensure EHS and other compliance standards are being met across divisions – to include site inspections/inductions, FLRAs, etc. + Anticipates problems, barriers, or conflicts and works with operation leadership and the client to implement solutions. + Approaches areas for improvement with a sense of teamwork and collaboration. + Ensures relevant operational systems, processes and practices exist, are understood, and applied consistently throughout the project. + Connects the interface between operational requirements and EHS systems, processes, and practices so that statutory, company and client requirements are met. + Provides guidance on operational and safety requirements **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field, such as: Geology, Mine Engineering OR 7 years of applicable experience in the Drilling Services/Mining Industry. + Proven track record of successful project management and coordination in the Drilling Services Industry. + Strong technical understanding of Drilling Services in its entirety, to include different drilling disciplines. + Extensive background in Environmental Health and Safety. + Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire a safety-focused team culture. + Must have strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and collaborative approach to address challenges. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, team members across divisions, and other stakeholders. + Demonstrated ability to navigate difficult conversations while maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach. + High level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions, with a commitment to upholding company values + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. + Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks. **Compensation, Benefits and Perks** Talented people are attracted to companies with long-term success and a supportive workplace culture that encourages work-life balance.
