Driveline Product Manager, SEA & Australia

ACCOUNTABILITY: This role is accountable for managing the Driveline (DL) product portfolio, setting and executing strategic direction, and driving profitable growth by delivering sustainable value propositions for markets and customers in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Australia (collectively known as SEA).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Development and Execution: Formulate and develop DL business strategy for all transmission fluids (on-road and off-road) in SEA, based on market segmentation, technology trends, and future market conditions. Manage the regional product portfolio. Identify and pursue business opportunities within SEA and align with counterparts for opportunities outside SEA. Product Line Management: Drive thought leadership and market advocacy at the regional/country level. Ideate, justify, develop, and position new products with clear value propositions. Communicate Product Performance Profiles and collaborate with Technology Managers to meet market demands. Implement marketing mix strategies including: Pricing & Margin Management: Optimize pricing strategies and portfolio profitability. Product Life Cycle Management: Plan demand for product lifecycle stages. Product Marketing: Develop collateral, promotion channels, advocacy, and training. Identify distribution channels and routes to market. Provide strategic commercial input for sourcing decisions. Sales and OEM Support: Collaborate with the regional Sales team to achieve annual sales targets. Capitalize on business opportunities to gain market share. Support Sales in meeting customer requirements, including advocacy, product recommendations, pricing, adoption/transition, and technical troubleshooting. Work with Project Managers and Technology Deployment teams to provide timely technical services. Support OEM engagement with insights on trends, technical and commercial aspects. Marketing Communications and Training: Partner with the Marketing group to develop and execute market communications and promotional programs. Champion marketing concepts to position Lubrizol’s strategy effectively. Support the Sales team in organizing promotional events such as industry seminars and joint seminars with key accounts. Provide training and presentations to sales teams, strategic customers, and at industry seminars.QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, strategic development, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing business strategies. Strong understanding of market trends and product development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proven track record in sales support and marketing initiatives. Experience in the automotive or chemical industry is a plus. Willingness to travel (25%)
