Our client, a wholesale florist in San Leandro, CA is looking for a motivated Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Deliver flowers daily according to the assigned route.Help load and confirm orders are correct and ready for delivery.Inspect the truck to ensure there are no problems before beginning the route.Unload at client sites/stores and provide an order form.Keep track of the route and communicate with the manager if any problems arise.Be available for peak production periods around holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.Complete deliveries, which may include routes as far as Porterville, CA.

Qualifications:

Ability to work over 8 hours per day and exceed 40 hours per week (time and a half for overtime hours).Customer service experience.Logistics and transportation experience (preferred).Experience driving a box truck (refrigerated preferred).Clean driver’s license (Motor Vehicle Report).Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Saturday availability.Reliable and punctual.Looking for long-term employment with opportunities for growth.

Monday - Friday (with Saturday availability)4:00 AM or 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM (must be available for overtime)$20.00
