Who You Are: 

 

As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle, providing reliable and efficient public transportation.

Driver Minimum Requirements: 

Must be at least 21 years of age.Must have a valid California Driver’s license.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical. A CDL with passenger Endorsement. Airbrake endorsement a plus. (Paid training and assistance to get CDL and airbrakes permits)Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills. Must be able to assist passengers including those who use walkers, wheelchairs, and/or other mobility devices on and off the vehicle.Must be able to transport passengers with disabilities including providing door to door service when required.Must be able to safely and professionally manage conflict and/or difficult situations involving passengers.Must be able to accept and accurately record passenger fares including cash, tickets, passes, and transfers.Must maintain a valid driver license and all other required credentials, certifications, and qualifications.
