Job Description
The STC Advocate role combines several key responsibilities, with the primary focus being the face of our company. As our purchasing process is entirely online, you will be the first in-person contact our customers have when they meet to sell their vehicle. You will have the freedom to go above and beyond to ensure our customers have a unique and exceptional experience.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver a uniquely special experience to each customer.Accurately and efficiently complete customer paperwork and take thorough notes in our customer tracking system.Prioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with our CMV Driver Qualification policy.Assist other team members with various tasks as necessary.Drive a company-owned car to approximately 6-8 appointments daily at customer homes.Greet customers, inspect the car they are selling, and have them complete paperwork on an iPad.Set up the tow to pick up the car from the customer's home and proceed to the next appointment.Essential SkillsCustomer service orientedClerical skillsRetail sales experienceDriving experienceDetail-orientedAdditional Skills & QualificationsSense of humor and a passion for the customer experienceGoal-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivatedHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust be 21 years of age or olderValid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years2+ years of customer-facing experienceTeam player with an understanding of the value of teamworkStrong attention to detail and ability to communicate offerings clearlyEnergy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutionsInterest in working hard in a fast-paced environmentAbility to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours)Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding EnglishExcellent visual activity and manual dexterity for frequent drivingWork Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions for extended periods and may involve exposure to inclement/extreme weather. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
