**Job Description**
The individuals in this position will operate a sprinter or box truck to make in-home deliveries to individuals who are in hospice care or at home care. These deliveries are crucial for those in long-term care within their homes or those just leaving the hospital in need of specific medical devices such as hospital beds, oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, or other in-home medical equipment. The individuals in this position will come in each day, receive a route list of deliveries, grab their phone/tablet out of their identified locker, and receive keys for a preloaded truck to make their deliveries. In some cases, the driver will have to help load or unload items from their truck before leaving for their routes or upon their return. They must be customer service-oriented as they will assist people who cannot help themselves, place items in requested areas, or demonstrate how to use the devices. Upon arrival at customers' homes, they may have to physically assemble or set up the delivered equipment. While direct physical contact with customers is not required, explaining or demonstrating how the equipment works is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a sprinter or box truck to make in-home deliveries to individuals in hospice or home care.
+ Receive and manage daily route lists and preloaded trucks.
+ Assist with loading and unloading items from the truck as needed.
+ Provide customer service by helping customers place items and demonstrating equipment usage.
+ Physically assemble or set up delivered medical equipment at customers' homes.
+ Complete a comprehensive training program, including ride-alongs with experienced drivers and hands-on equipment training.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or delivery experience.
+ 1 year of box truck or sprinter truck experience preferred.
+ Customer service orientation and ability to interact with people effectively.
+ Ability to lift 30-70 lbs routinely.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes a normal warehouse setting when onsite at the main location. Most of the work involves operating the truck and making deliveries to customers' homes. Work hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during the first month of training, with a start time of 8:30 am. After training, drivers will be on call every three weeks for the whole week, 24/7, with additional pay for being on call and for any call-outs. Drivers must be open to working weekends, with three available shifts: Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, and Wednesday to Sunday, all from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marshall, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
