Who You Are
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Operates company vehicles to move materials, tools, personnel, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another. Completes tasks with vehicle assigned in a timely and safe manner. Ensures vehicle is maintained in a serviceable and clean condition. Conducts vehicle inspections, loads and unloads, and washes vehicles. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
This is a continent position based on contract award
What You’ll Do
As Driver Courier you will:
Receive and Follow Directions: Report to the Foreman or General Foreman to receive daily assignments, instructions, and directions.
Interpret Instructions: Read and interpret instructions and documentation to plan work activities effectively.
Operate Company Vehicles: Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, personnel, and equipment to and from work locations, supporting construction and maintenance activities.
Deliver Materials and Supplies: Transport operating materials and supplies between warehouses, ensuring deliveries are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain Vehicle Condition: Regularly ensure that the vehicle is maintained in a serviceable and clean condition.
Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues.
Load and Unload Vehicles: Carefully load and unload materials and tools from the vehicle, ensuring that items are secured during transit.
Wash Vehicles: Keep vehicles clean by washing them as required to maintain them in good condition.
Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment to minimize risks during operations.
Document Activities: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any issues encountered during operations.

Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in USG Driver Courier with similar USG projects of size, scope and complexity.
High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
Ability to maximize services and capabilities, provisioned as a service.
Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
