Position Details: + Non-exempt, paying $20/hour + 20 hours per week + Location: Point Lookout, NY + Reports to the Program Director What You’ll Do: + Distribute prepared meals and route assignments to fellow drivers and volunteers. + Maintain your own delivery route, ensuring clients receive their meals on time. + Monitor and record food temperatures, reporting any issues to the Site Coordinator. + Ensure adherence to planned menus and report changes as needed. + Return completed paperwork at the end of your route, noting any missed deliveries. + Safely return any undelivered meals to the appropriate storage. + Follow all road safety rules and exercise good judgment while driving. + Occasionally assist at other EAC Senior Program locations. What We are Looking for: + A valid NYS Driver’s License with a clean record and access to a reliable vehicle. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.as needed. + Willingness to complete online Food Safety Training after hire. + Experience with GPS navigation and a minimum of one year of driving experience, ideally in customer service or human services. + Strong communication skills and empathy for the needs of homebound seniors.
