Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Providing guest transportation
Assisting guests with luggage
Delivering and picking up materials needed in everyday operation of the Lodge and hand delivering items to the appropriate departments, including mail
Assisting in valet service for guests
Assisting bell-stand with luggage and directing guests
Assisting in providing storage for guest luggage
Showing rooms to potential guests, if bell person is not available
Performing errands, as needed
Assisting bell-stand with luggage for bus arrivals and departures, as needed
Performing upkeep on courtesy vehicles and keep vehicles clean
Reporting courtesy vehicle accidents
Providing directions to various landmarks and attractions in the Hershey area
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 21 years of age
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have excellent driving record
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service/guest relations with excellent customer service/guest relations’ records
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Outgoing and friendly personality
Professional image, representative of Lodge standards
Familiarity with the area and routes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 50% of shift
Ability to work in varying temperatures that fluctuate with the weather
This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours
