Scheduled: Rotating shift – 12:00pm to Finish
Pay rate : $16 per hour
The driver helper’s role would be assisting the delivery driver with all non-driving tasks, such as loading, unloading, cleaning and delivering equipment to hotels and resorts on time. Staging and setting up equipment (ECV, Strollers ,Wheelchairs) at each bell stand location. Ensuring that units are ready for our customers. Driver Helpers will assist with keeping truck cabin and trailers clean. Assisting with tagging units and verifying that the correct equipment is being loaded on each run. Loading and unloading: Load and unload items from the vehicle, and ensure they are properly secured and organized Customer service: Greet customers and communicate effectively with the driver and customers Delivery paperwork: Complete delivery paperwork and keep in touch with the supervisors and dispatch Route navigation: Help the driver navigate to various locations using GPS or maps Equipment preparation: Prepare, clean equipment and load and unload truck properly Physical fitness, including the ability to lift 30-50 lbs consistently Customer service skills Communication skills Accuracy Multitasking High school diploma or GED certificateExternal Basic Qualifications:
•Willing to work a flexible shift.
•Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
•Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
•Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
•High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
•At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
•At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
•At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory
