Driver Helper
**Job Title: Environmental Science Technician** **Job Description** We're looking for two environmental science technicians to add to our growing team. These individuals will go site to site to healthcare facilities to consolidate, treat, store, pack, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste. The position will also require maintaining detailed and accurate records via documentation/labeling, and face-to-face interaction with clients. **Responsibilities** + Sort and pack material for transport (unused pharmaceuticals, lab waste, aerosol sprays, bulbs, batteries, TVs, printers). + Maintain inventory and storage of hazardous materials. + Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment to move containers to and from storage and treatment areas to load/unload trailers. + Complete required documentation accurately, timely, and legibly. + Perform other tasks as assigned. **Qualifications** + 6+ months experience within a construction or warehouse environment. + Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. + Ability to be on your feet for 8-10 hours a day. + Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator. + Environmental science or hazardous waste experience preferred but not required. + Experience with handling hazardous materials or 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred but not required. + Strong written and interpersonal skills. + Ability to submit to a drug screen. **Why Work Here?** Room for growth with the opportunity to be promoted to a driver role with Class B CDL.
