Company: Echelon Supply & Service Position: Driver Location: Houston, TX Overview: Since 1977, Echelon Supply & Service has been a leading supplier of hoses and hose assemblies for commercial and military applications throughout the world. Due to current, as well as projected future growth, Echelon is currently seeking a competitive, team oriented and experienced Driver to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities: + Drive a truck with a trailer to transport goods over long distances + Perform long-haul deliveries with potential overnight stays + Safely drive the company vehicle (non-CDL) + Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, building strong rapport with customers + Pickup and deliver product locally between our facilities, from suppliers and to customers + Provide complete and accurate records of all pickups and deliveries + Process incoming & outgoing UPS shipments + Assemble hoses using provided instructions and following precise directions + Use tools and measuring devices in accordance with specifications and requirements Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; + Experience driving a truck with trailers required; + Needs to be comfortable driving long distances to various parts of Texas and Louisiana; + Reliable transportation to our branch required; + Ability to work independently and follow specific work instructions; + Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis; + Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
