This position is responsible for providing safe transportation to participants in a timely, competent manner, and for communicating important information relevant to the overall care plan to the multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training: First Aid training Coursework/Training: Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire. Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. Upon hire: If driving a large passenger vehicle, California (Class B) driver's license per California Highway Patrol Regulations, and proof of insurance per company policy will be required.

Preferred qualifications:

1 year of Previous experience driving passengers requiring assistance
