Job Description Xylem is looking for a Driver Technician to report to our Lakeland, FL branch and execute pick-ups, deliveries, and installation of our equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area. **What your day will look like as a Driver Technician** The Driver Technician will be responsible for the loading, unloading, pick-up, delivery, and installation of our pumps and corresponding equipment at customer sites in the surrounding areas. Equipment specific training will be provided, but candidates with previous labor and driving (CDL preferred) experience are especially encouraged to apply. If you believe that we would be the right fit for you, please apply today. **Position Requirements for Driver Technicians** + HS diploma or equivalent + 1+ years of driving and labor experience preferred + A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record + Having or being capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements + Hazmat Endorsements or ability to obtain + Experience with flatbed trailers and proper load securement techniques + Ability to drive potentially difficult routes + Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution. + Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical + Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices + Ability to work in a high customer facing position + Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns **TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:** 50% or more daily travel- **home daily.** **Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range.
