Job Description

Reporting to our Senior People Director, you will create impact within our French People Team. We take pride in our diverse client portfolio and our team of creative minds, setting us apart in the industry.

You'll support our HR and legal departments in ensuring compliance with French labour laws. You'll deepen your expertise in employment law while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. At Jellyfish, we are committed to promoting professional growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Help draft and update employee-related documentation, including employer unilateral declarations (Déclarations Unilatérales de l'Employeur - DUE), internal regulations, and company policies, to ensure compliance with French labour law.Prepare and organise documentation for audits and Work Council (Comité Social et Économique - CSE) meetings.Conduct legal and regulatory research concerning sector-specific collective agreements (conventions collectives) in the advertising or marketing sectors, and monitor changes in labour laws to maintain up-to-date compliance records and advise on necessary adjustments.Provide advice to HR and operational teams on employment law matters, including hiring, contract management, and termination.Help manage legal disputes and employee relations issues, including researching precedents and compiling case data.

QualificationsYou can sign an alternance or professionnalisation contract—you're pursuing a degree in French Labour Law or Social Law, and have the right to work 35 hours a week in France.You're fluent in French.You understand French labour law, including employment regulations or collective agreements.Analytical and research skills on legal topics.You're great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.You embrace challenges as opportunities and seek feedback to enhance your skills.
