We are seeking experienced **Drone Operators** with a Part 107 license to join this dynamic team in the Sacramento area. In this role, you will collaborate with your team to fly, maintain, test, and improve cutting-edge drone technology. Fly: ▪ Assemble, prepare for preflight, launch, and recover unmanned aircraft. ▪ Test and optimize operational systems. ▪ Validate new engineering changes and software/hardware in early development stages. Maintain: ▪ Maintain the existing fleet of aircraft and ground equipment. ▪ Support new systems for function-specific flight tests. Test: ▪ Perform tests and demonstrations related to US FAA Type Certification. Improve: ▪ Continuously improve processes, safety protocols, hardware, and software. ▪ Provide detailed feedback to the design team. **Main responsibilities will include:** + Following SOPs for flight operations + Pre-flight set up + Observing flight data from live feedback provided by the autonomous drones + Identify any issues and attempt to troubleshoot the issues you’re reading from the data + Collecting data and completing reports + Creating work tickets through the company system for anything you need to escalate to Engineers/ Supervisors + Post-flight duties **Qualifications:** ▪ 1-3 years of drone flying experience ▪ Part 107 license ▪ Basic Computer skills ▪ Knowledge of Airspace and Air safety ▪ Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, interpersonal) ▪ Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities ▪ Ability to work with minimal supervision ▪ Must be eligible to work in the US **Shift** : 10pm-6:30am (or 11pm-7:30am) Mon-Fri **Pay Range:** $30-40/hr **Work Environment:** ▪ Culture: Fast-paced, collaborative, flexible team players, a startup adapting to new challenges and opportunities. ▪ 90% of work will be in an outdoor environment. ▪ This is a 6 month contract opportunity. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
