**Job Title: Drum Filler** **Job Description** The Returnable Drum Filler is responsible for filling returnable drums in accordance with customer and company specifications. This role also involves various tasks as deemed necessary by the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Group Leader. **Responsibilities** + Work collaboratively with all team members. + Inspect returnable drums for damage before filling and report any damages. + Fill returnable drums following MS 8.5/3-82 guidelines. + Operate processes to maximize product quality and output. + Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment. + Ensure safety apparatus are in place. + Perform real-time reporting in SAP and complete daily production reports. + Report any safety or maintenance concerns. + Verify magna press seals are defect-free and air valves are functional. + Perform cartridge filling duties as needed according to MS 8.5/3-46 - Uhlhorn only. + Remove plates from expired drums. + Operate a forklift. **Essential Skills** + 1-3 years of experience in mixing, batching, compounding, chemical handling, machine operation, and blending. + Experience in production, batch production, and batch documentation. + Experience operating a forklift. + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly. + Comfortable working in a facility with strong odors. + Ability to pass a skills key test and audiogram test. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior industrial cleaning or housekeeping experience. + Prior mixing and batching experience. + Optional forklift experience. + Chemical manufacturing experience. + High school diploma/GED or equivalent. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a pay rate increase from B-level to C-level, along with production bonuses (up to 30%). Work shifts are as follows: 1st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday; 2nd shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday – Friday; 3rd shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am, Sunday – Thursday. Overtime may be required on weekends. Current openings are at the Grove location with a 4-day/10-hour shift schedule, subject to change. Attire includes steel-toed shoes, with safety PPE provided (safety glasses, respirators, gloves, earbuds, etc.). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract To Hire position based out of Evansville, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
