Work Experience

What You'll Do as: Dry End Operator

Measure all finished productsPrep shafts for product being ranLoad shafts on the tableKeep an accurate log of materials run (computer and sheet)Print out tickets for the finished productMake sure the PID ID # is in at the shift changeResponsible for recipes put in computer on the lineMake sure the line is properly threadedPull the shaft from the finished productLoad & measure cores on the newly prepped shaftClean rolls as neededCut samples for the lab and paperwork as neededCut & weigh samplesGet all the supplies needed for the jobDump trash can at the end of the shiftSweep up at the end of the shiftAssist in all phases of cleanupWork as directed by the supervisorAbility to follow through on completion of assigned tasks promptlyWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearTemperature Changes: variations in temperature from hot to coldWet: frequent contact with water or other liquidsHumid: conditions with high moisture content to cause bodily reactionsNoise: sufficient noise to cause distraction
