GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for operating dryers and/or hoists to ensure product is dried to Dole standards.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Move product from wash tanks to dryers to elevators Use hand and eye coordination to operate overhead conveyor/hoist system Maintain a steady flow of product out of dryer room and onto the scale mezzanine. Inspect product and equipment for possible contaminants

·         Extensive climbing, pushing and pulling throughout shift

·         Ability to quickly react to fast-paced and constant maneuvering of dryer baskets and carts between wash system, dryer deck and elevators

·         Inspect food and equipment for possible contaminants

·         Any and all other duties assigned by your Supervisor
