GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for operating dryers and/or hoists to ensure product is dried to Dole standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Move product from wash tanks to dryers to elevators Use hand and eye coordination to operate overhead conveyor/hoist system Maintain a steady flow of product out of dryer room and onto the scale mezzanine. Inspect product and equipment for possible contaminants. Extensive climbing, pushing and pulling throughout shift.  Ability to quickly react to fast-paced and constant maneuvering of dryer baskets and carts between wash system, dryer deck and elevators  Inspect food and equipment for possible contaminants. Any and all other duties assigned by your Supervisor
