Position Description:

Responsible for performing interior/exterior framing and installation of drywall assemblies

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  
Ability to accurately transfer layout information from construction drawings and documents to floors or ceilings.
Installation of rough carpentry, framing, hanging of insulation and drywall, suspended ceiling systems, caulking (fire and smoke/sound), miscellaneous drywall trim, and rough carpentry.
Installation of corner bead, j-bead, and l-bead, and other metal trim integral to drywall.
Installation of door frames (fully welded or knockdown), doors, and hardware to the specifications and standards of the manufacturer.
Ability to make repairs to doors, frames, walls, and ceilings.
Coordinate with other subcontractors.
Operate equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts.
Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required (including daily participation in Pre-Task Plans) and ensure Trade employees/subcontractors compliance with Turner standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations, and jobsite security.
Inspect all tools and power tools before use to ensure they are in safe and working condition.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.
Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:                      
Candidates should have at least three (3) years of experience in commercial drywall.
Must be able to comprehend safety instructions and signage, communicate effectively in emergency situations and understand written safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Valid Driver’s License preferred.
