Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The DTRA I3TS program is seeking a IT Procurement Manager to join their team! Based in Ft. Belvoir, VA, this new program is an exciting way to launch your career further than ever!

This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Typical Duties Include:

Responsible for defining plans, processes, methods, and tools for ensuring supply chain management and chain of custody for the life of all Gov assets to help protect from the inadvertent purchase of counterfeit or illegally modified products.Responsible for all activities associated with researching and recommending cost effective purchase arrangements which will be approved by the GovSupporting the Government’s purchase process and coordinating the delivery of purchasesManaging, tracking, and auditing hardware recapitalization, maintenance agreements, and software licensing.Ensures the review purchase requisitions for clarity, compliance, detail, completeness, and obtain additional information considered necessary; actively manages the procurement process from order placement through receipt of products and subsequent payment of invoicesActively manages supplier performance through consistent communication to ensure proper adherence to purchase order terms and conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience as a Procurement Analyst in an IT environmentExperience should include purchasing, inventory management and procurementExperience with logistics management and software productsDoD contracting support desiredCertified Procurement Manager or Certified Professional in Supply Management desiredSecret clearance; will be upgraded to TS/SCI
