Job Description:

Join GDIT and be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The DTRA I3TS team is seeking a Project Manager to join their program in Ft Belvoir, VA.

This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Duties include:

Coordinate and monitor technical projects or programs from initiation through delivery Gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications Serve as liaisons between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met Ensure technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results Works with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment 

  

Responsibilities:

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques  Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques  Report and escalate to management as needed Successfully manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 

  

Basic Required Qualifications:  

r's Degree (May be substituted for additional years of experience) 

5+ years of experience in a project management role within a large IT program; DoD experience preferredSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with software development and web technologies Strong working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project PMPTS/SCI Security Clearance

Desired Qualification:

ITIL 4 FoundationExperience managing data to the cloud projects

The likely salary range for this position is $111,702 - $151,126. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
