JOB SUMMARY:
The Dual Rate Slots Supervisor is assists in the supervision of the slot floor when scheduled.
ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:
Promotes internal and external guest development during an assigned shift, insures excellent service delivery in their area of responsibility, and maintains communication within the slot department and with other departments. Promotes teamwork, encourages employee ideas and feedback and works as an attendant when not scheduled to supervise. Timely and effective resolution of guest complaints. Consistently observe and provide feedback on service standards. Effectively manage their floor and insure excellent guest service.QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required. Must possess strong supervisory and leadership skills. Must have strong knowledge of the various internal written and verbal codes/abbreviations. Must project professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Previous knowledge of casino rules, regulations and procedures pertinent to Slot operations is required. Slot or Beverage experience preferred but previous supervisory experience is acceptable. Must have the ability to make quick decisions and have the ability to train, follow and execute training manuals.Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items. Must be able to walk and be on feet for long periods of time. Must have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices. Must be able to work in stressful situations. Must possess basic math skills. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
