**Duct Installer/Sheet Metal Mechanic** **Pay Scale** - $24hr-$32hr **Benefits -** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k **Hours** - Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm **Job Description** Looking to add experienced Duct Installers/Sheet Metal Mechanics to our team long-term. Duct Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC ductwork systems in a new construction setting. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work in various environments and weather conditions. Reason for adding more Mechanic is due to a increase in work load based off of multiple bid wins. This will allow up to grow our department and create more opportunity. We are able to start new Mechanic ASAP. **Responsibilities:** - Reading and interpreting HVAC blueprints and schematics. - Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC ductwork systems. - Inspecting systems, identifying problems, and performing necessary repair work. - Adhering to safety policies and procedures, including wearing protective equipment and ensuring the work site is clean and hazard-free. **Hard Skills** + Proven work experience as a Duct Installer or similar role within the HVAC industry + Familiarity with HVAC blueprints and schematics + Strong understanding of HVAC system operations and mechanics **Soft Skills** + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Excellent problem-solving skills + Attention to detail **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** **New Construction** **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
