The Durability Lab Technician is responsible for operating the club durability air cannons (including set up, maintaining and documenting results) and additional lab tasks including but not limited to CT, COR, groove measurements and all other applicable lab tasks. Additional responsibilities may include helping out in all other lab areas.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform or assist in performing all club durability testing
Perform or assist in performing all lab tasks which will include but not limited to: CT, COR, shaft tests, Lab tests, groove conformance.
Assist with all functional areas (club build, robot, measurement lab)
Assist in product preparation for testing and reviewing work orders prior to testing
May assist in training of equipment or test procedure.
Operate ADC Air Cannons
Operate performance robot
Process test results using statistical software
Track data using R&D databases
Other duties as assigned
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Good knowledge of mechanical parts and tools
Good Understanding of golf equipment/products
Basic knowledge of computers
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Understanding of basic statistics
Good understanding of how to read and apply requests from a work order
Ability to handle multiple areas and equipment in a changing priority environment
Ability to work in a team environment with the ability to work under limited supervision
Strong attention to detail
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent
College diploma preferred
Minimum 2 years experience as a technician preferred
