Supervises and monitors cargo operations so that they are in accordance with airline requirements and company procedures. Looks into ways of improving work procedures and systems to provide better service
Ensures that staff, equipment and other resources are deployed properly to effectively meet operational requirements.
Ensures that good customer service is provided to airlines, agents, shippers and consignees by ensuring that their requests, enquiries and complaints are attended to and resolved quickly.
Assists in briefing staff on specific requirements of airlines and also helps in counseling staff on discipline and work matters. Conduct control self-assessment for Cargo on a quarterly basis
Maintains good relationships with airlines by meeting them regularly and obtaining feedback on the services provided. Looks into ways of improving work procedures and systems to ensure that a high standard of service is provided to clients
Investigates incidents of mishandlings, complaints / queries from airlines, freight forwarders, shippers and consignees and draw up necessary measures to prevent recurrence.
Co-ordinates special handling requests from airlines and their customers and arrange for such requests to be handled by operations staff.
Works closely with airline clients to ensure the smooth implementation and handling of any new products and / or services to be launched by the airlines.
Monitors, evaluates and resolves the discrepancies of operations at Courier terminal in Mumbai
Conducts briefings and tours of terminal facilities for airline clients HR or overseas personnel and guests, upon request.
Qualification:
Graduation
Experience :
Minimum 05 to 08 years of experience in air cargo business of airport or airline or internal express companies or cargo terminal
