The DVA modeller creates and maintains DVA models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data to predict DVA results.  The DVA modeller creates reports communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the Ford GDME DVA Engineer. DVA program manager has to ensure quality of the each study and represent to counterpart as a Program SpOC ensuring below R&R 

oGather inputs (CAD, Locating strategy, Input tolerances, Specifications) for DVA models oExecute Appearance DVA assessments as per Ford DCD standards §Create and maintain DVA model for Exterior and Interior Appearance assessments §Create and maintain Summary Reports for Exterior and Interior Appearance results oExecute standard Functional DVA studies as per globally aligned DVA process §Create and maintain DVA model for UN/UP Functional requirements §Create and maintain Memo Reports for UN/UP Functional Assessments (MS PowerPoint) as per Ford DCD standard §Document relevant tolerances and processes §Document results oExecute Attachment and Packaging What IF DVA studies as per globally aligned DVA process §Investigate and Execute DVA What Ifs (Power train, Exterior, Interior, Exhaust and Chassis) §Document results in Standard DVA Memo Report (MS PowerPoint) as per Ford DCD standard oValidate the DVA results from software and update/correct the DVA model, if the predicted results are not correct oUpdate the DVA model and reports based on the feedback from GDME Engineer/DCD Engineer
