Our summer positions will provide you with invaluable insights into your career path post-graduation. As a valued member of our team, you will develop practical and professional skills by working closely with our licensed doctors and technicians. You will be introduced to the inner workings of our hospitals while also gaining exposure and education in some of the following areas:
Assist doctor and other hospital staff by care and cleaning of patients and facilities including completing patient treatments, assisting in surgery, and all other animal care functions as well as other tasks involved in the operations of a veterinary hospital. Must be a Current Veterinary Student.
In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:
•Patient intake and history
•Triage, treatments and case dynamics
•Filling Prescriptions
•Assisting in procedures
•Hands on compassionate care duties
•Patient handling and restraint
•Assisting with laboratory and imaging diagnostics
•General hospital maintenance
