Dyeing LeadPosition Overview
Dyeing LeadPosition Objective:
Responsible for assisting the supervisor in the daily operation of the shift.
Essential Duties:
Maintain a working knowledge of all jobs in the Dyeing department in order to relieve, replace or assist in employee absences
Provide instructions/directions/guidance to all line personnel
Perform Weight Checks
Fill in for supervisor when needed
Requirements:
Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, stoop, and climb stairs
Must participate in group stretching prior to shift
May be required to lift 70 lbs.
Must be applicable to all JHA’s
Power Industrial Truck (PIT)
Tools, Equipment & Material Requirements:
Cutting glove
Turkey Knife
Use appropriate tools for job depending which operator is being relieved for breaks or absence
Safety & Security Requirements:
This position has the responsibility and authority to report to management any safety problems, and potential problems, encountered while performing the job
This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output and their co-worker
Certifications / Licenses:
Valid Hyster/Lift Truck
Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
