For our European Distribution Center in Machelen, we are actively looking for an e-Business Specialist.

The purpose of the job is to support the future growth of the organization by facilitating, implementing and supporting the digitalization and automation of processes and operational tasks within the Global Services organization.

The e-Business Specialist acts as a liaison between IT and the various business areas, applying IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate IT solutions for E-business problems.

Your roles and responsibilities include:

Set-up of project planning, close follow-up and implementationProgress reporting towards managementBusiness and system analysisImplementation of new or changed business processes & systemsSAP & e-business process/systems training for key users in the Global Services organisation as well as refresher trainingService function related to business processes and systems:Business Process support of Customer Service on the E-Business systemsReport and follow up on internal identified KPIs on globally defined Order Automation KPI’s

Your profile:

Bachelor or Master or equal by experience in relevant field such as: Business Administration, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Science, EngineeringAt least 2 years’ relevant experience in an international environmentGood knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an asset)Fluent in English. Other language is an asset.Excellent communication and training skillsExperience with common desktop applications (Microsoft office tools)Knowledge of process redesign and Lean transformation tools & techniquesProblem solver, fast learner and creative thinkerEntrepreneurial spirit and Customer orientationStrong team player with supportive attitudeStrong interest in the digitalization of businessGood understanding of information technology (Experience with EDI is an asset)Up to 10 % travel
