Job Description Insight Global is looking for an E&C Engineer to support a GE7F gas turbine plant and five Wärtsilä reciprocating engines working on mechanical and electrical installations that are scheduled for completion in 2025. This candidate will serve as a field mechanical engineer on site to oversee mechanical installations with a primary focus on electrical aspects. They will act as an intermediary to ensure contractors are meeting requirements, Manage onsite construction activities and logistics. Interact with a variety of project individuals, internal employees, contract partners, and manufacturer representatives. Handle contractual obligations and assist in resolving site questions or concerns. This individual will have No direct reports, but extensive interaction with various project stakeholders engaging with the design firm to address and resolve issues. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of experience as a field engineer or working for a construction contractor/equipment. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent work experience. Experience in construction and commissioning of gas turbines and heavy industrial projects. Contract management and site engineering experience, preferably working for an owner or a supplier consulting firm Proficiency in standard PM or Outlook suite, technical documentation, and technical manuals. Strong knowledge of equipment installation, particularly mechanical aspects. Familiarity with power generation equipment and manufacturing processes.
